Four Peaks Saddlery was founded by Chris Johnson, a third-generation Arizonan who has competed on horseback his entire life.

I have had a life-long interest in building saddles. I was fortunate to be taught by some great “old school” saddle makers such as George and Robert Rios, Joe Maresco, and Dave Pollat. All those years horseback and close to a hundred and fifty years of these men’s experience passed down to me has showed me what a good saddle is, and how it should fit a horse.
